I chose Rei Kawakubo’s quote which is about design, creating a comme des garcons style. When I unpicked the jacket, I noticed there are many threads, then I sticked them on the book and draw lines following the shadow. But when I turn off the light, the shadow was gone which let me think about the invisible things can’t be seen doesn’t mean they don’t exist. As Comme des garcons specializes in austere, I want to create something simple but meaningful and special.

I think it’s a natural way to change the fabric itself rather than adding decoration. That’s the reason why I put it into oven and then I found nobody did that before. The color changed and it became darker for the fold line, which looks like the track. It inspires me using life track as my concept.

People can feel though something is invisible. The smell of hot pot sticks with you from head to toe; something like dust exists though it cannot be seen.

These are all mark in our life, something like brush teeth is normal routine, and you will never notice how many times , but it is part of life.  The darker part indicate that even though the garment can be washable after the dust…, but the track of life cannot be forget, it is visible and recoding and it will accumulate day by day, like the dark circle.
